The architecture behind ZenX.
ZenX is a structured framework for human discernment: a way to examine the environments, formations, and operating positions through which the self is shaped and governed.
Its products, writings, archives, and access layers belong to one connected architecture. Each serves a different function.
What the system governs

Why the boundaries exist
BOUNDARIES ARE PART OF THE SYSTEM.
A layer that performs another layer’s function weakens the architecture it belongs to.
ARCHIVES does not interpret.
MANUAL does not retain.
JOURNALS does not decide access.
ACCESS does not write.
SYSTEM governs the boundaries.

The movement of knowledge
FROM INQUIRY TO REFERENCE.
Work moves through ZenX according to its function and state of examination. Journals hold work still in motion. Examination tests and develops it. Some work eventually becomes reference in the Archives.
JOURNALS
Questions, observations, experiments, reflections, and work still in motion.
EXAMINATION
Ideas are examined, refined, challenged, and developed.
ARCHIVES
When work becomes sufficiently settled, it can become part of the retained record.
Not every Journal becomes an Archive. Some work remains exploratory. Some is revised, withdrawn, or replaced. What enters the Archives has earned a different status: reference.
